Macomb County issued the following announcement on Sept. 5.
The Good Old Days Festival returns to Richmond Sept. 5 to 8. After last year’s great weather and record-breaking crowds, organizers are eager to embrace the 2019 event. The 56th annual festival is always hosted in the city the weekend after Labor Day. The four days of fun will include crowd favorites, ranging from the outhouse races, a 5K race, fireworks and a parade to a new twist on the ever-popular demolition derby.
