Macomb County issued the following announcement on Oct.1.
Free Bikes 4 Kids (FB4K) is a national non-profit organization that hosts a one-day bike donation drive. This year Henry Ford Health System is the presenting sponsor for the Detroit chapter. On Saturday, October 5, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., community members are encouraged to drop off gently used bikes for children and adults at one of 23 Henry Ford locations. Pick-up and furbishing will be facilitated by FB4K volunteers before working with community-based organizations to identify families in need.
