Regina High School issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
The Franciscan Ministries are sponsoring a “warm clothing” drive the week of Feb. 3rd-7th. Clean, new/gently-used shirts, hoodies, winter coats, boots, pants/jeans, thermal tops/bottoms, white tube socks, hats, and gloves/mittens for adults and children are being collected. In addition, sleeping bags, sturdy back packs, and hand warmers would be appreciated by the 17,000 homeless people in the Detroit area who benefit from your generosity.
Donations should be dropped off in the large red mitten in the cafeteria or in Room 313.
