Dtf Seizes Meth, Cocaine, Arrests Two

St. Clair County Sheriff's Office issue the following announcement on July 16.

Two people are lodged at the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center, following a Drug Task Force investigation.

According to Sheriff Mat King, members of the DTF investigated sales of narcotics in the Port Huron area, which led to the execution of a search warrant in the 1600 block of McPherson Street in the city of Port Huron. At about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, the DTF entered the residence, where they located and seized about $550 worth of methamphetamine, about $200 worth of cocaine, analogue pills, cash, digital scales and drug packaging materials.

Two men from Port Huron, ages 51 and 48 were arrested without incident at the home. They face charges including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of analogues and maintaining a drug house.

The Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team also assisted at the residence.
