Macomb County Chamber issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
So proud to partner with The Blue Water Area Chamber, MBIA and Macomb County on a fabulous Lake St. Clair Appreciation Day that highlights the critical environmental and economic value our lake plays in the region. This year's event was held at the Metro Boat Show in Lake St. Clair Metro Park.
Presentations were given by Macomb County Exec Mark Hackel, St Clair County Chairman of the Board, Jeff Bohm, Macomb County Public Works Commissioner Candice Miller, Selfridge ANG Brigadier General Rolf Mammen, Gerry Santoro Macomb County Economic Development team, the Great Lakes Way organization and Michigan Boating Industries Association. Everyone outlined the importance of our lake and the exciting developments occuring with the lake and the local boating industry.
Thank you to all the legislators, municipal leaders and elected officials who attended today and learned about great resource we have in our beloved Macomb County!
