City of Sterling Heights recently issued the following announcement.
The wild turkey is an interesting bird, even suggested as being our national bird! Join us for a cornucopia of fun revolving around this favorite Thanksgiving mascot. Hands-on experiments will include busting the tryptophan myth, learning about turkeys and having fun with other side dishes. Many of the activities may be outdoors so please dress for the weather.
You will likely look at your Thanksgiving feast much differently after this program.
