I WILL FIGHT GOVERNOR WHITMER’S LATEST ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION PUTTING MICHIGAN’S UNBORN CHILDREN AT RISK!
As SCOTUS gets closer to a decision that may overturn Roe v. Wade, returning life issues back to the states, Whitmer is actively seeking adjudication from the Michigan Supreme Court to overturn legislation that has been in place since 1931 which protects the life of the unborn in all cases except for the life of the mother. She undermines the U.S. Constitution in her statement, “If the U.S. Supreme Court refuses to protect the constitutional right to an abortion, the Michigan Supreme Court should step in.” I have a question for Governor Whitmer.
Where in the U.S. Constitution is abortion protected? Anyone who has read our constitution knows that abortion is not a constitutional protection. In fact, just the opposite is true. Life is a protection secured by the U.S. Constitution, not the murder of our most vulnerable. It’s disturbing to me that she can even make that statement. It’s more disturbing that people believe it!
