Over the last few days, deputies have taken multiple reports of yet ANOTHER scam. The suspect will call a local business, posing as the owner. The caller will then instruct the employee that they are speaking to, to deposit the "daily drop" into bitcoin machines at local gas stations.
Please speak to your employees regarding this scam and review your policies and procedures.
If any other businesses have fallen victim to this scam, please contact your local police department.
