Hygienepantry

Macomb County issued the following announcement on Dec. 30.

A new pantry that will distribute supplies to those in need is being created in Shelby Township by a group of volunteers. Woman's Life Chapter #911 Macomb Angels has begun putting together a pantry for hygiene necessities for use by the local community. The pantry will be located in a suite at 22 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue and will be open to Shelby Township and Utica residents, in addition to residents of surrounding communities. Woman’s Life Chapter 911 is collecting a variety of hygiene products to stock the pantry. Anyone can donate items they do not need. “We will be collecting shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste and (toothbrushes), toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, etc.,” Woman’s Life Chapter 911 President Lynn Karnes said in an email. The pantry hours will be by appointment by emailing WL911macombangels@gmail.com or by calling Woman’s Life Chapter 911 President Lynn Karnes at (586) 604-6907.
