City of Algonac issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
A big thank you to Algonac residents Pennie Baggett and Cindy Higby who have quietly tended to the flowers around the Riverfront Park flagpole for many years.
Councilman Ray Martin presented both residents with an Algonac Asset Award.
