We all want to live in and build a better community – an easy way to keep neighborhood relationships positive and Marine City prospering is to practice simple lawn etiquette.
There are many responsibilities that come with living in a neighborhood, including keeping the growth of weeds or grass under 8 inches, not allowing the accumulation of trash or blighted objects in your yard and stacking any firewood in an orderly fashion.
Show kindness and offer to help your neighbors if they aren't able to mow their lawns. There are all sorts of reasons why people may need assistance, or they may just not know what the City’s rules are for keeping yards nicely landscaped. A simple conversation with a neighbor or just lending that helping hand will almost always resolve an un-mowed lawn!
